• Each power tank uses the principle of latent heat - the energy required to change the state of a material without raising the temperature of that material - to store up to 4 times the energy for the equivalent volume of water
• Integrated with solar panels they enable more sun energy to be used each day, thereby maximising efficiency of the panels
• Used with conventional gas and oil fired boilers they reduce the normal inefficient on/off cycling by up to 90% thus improving boiler output and reduce unburned hydrocarbons which 'soot up' appliances
• A typical house using some 10kWh will require eight power tanks to ensure energy saving is maximised
• Partnered with a heat pump they allow low cost night-time electricity to be used to reduce running costs
